Suppose you were prescribed 1 mg of Xanax 3 times a day, but like a bad kid you ate them all to early and couldn't get a refill. Well, along comes a friend with a 1 mg klonopin and says same thing, take it.

Is it the same thing?

I told him to go to rehab LOL.

Xanax is a Benzodiaiazepine tranquilizer and prescribed for anxiety, tension, agitation, depression and panic attacks mostly.

Klonipin is an anticonvulsant and prescribed for siesures mostly. Also for manic episodes, schizophrenia, nerve pain and some symptoms of Parkinson's disease.

I quess either one will give you a buzz, but they are not the same. BTW both can be addictive fairly quickly.
